The espresso at Park Slope’s De Luxe, the four-month old shop on the southern side of the 7th Ave strip, is created with beans from Idaho-based Doma Coffee Roasting Co., and tastes like cinders. The owners say they wanted an espresso that would hold up well in milk, so I guess they’ve found it.
