They don’t make them much friendlier than the people who own and operate De Luxe, Park Slope, Brooklyn’s newest coffee emporium. It’s a nicely-conceived shop with a handful of seats, a beautiful vintage Faema E 61 espresso machine and pretty red metal stools. Their coffee is from Doma, out of Idaho, who roast a bit on the dark end of the spectrum for me, but I know a lot of people like that.
